Descrizione
Carlo De Carli Corollario accompanies the exhibition of the same name held at the Politecnico di Milano in 2025, introducing a wider audience to the thought and work of Carlo De Carli – a multifaceted architect and key figure in Italian architecture and design in the second half of the twentieth century. Through critical essays and previously unpublished materials, the volume reconstructs his design thinking via a series of thematic “corollaries” that underscore the remarkable relevance of his work today: from the founding idea of Spazio Primario, where only human relational gestures give meaning to objects and spaces, to his writings; from furniture design to architecture,
from teaching to painting – all woven into a deep narrative that reveals the coherence and contemporaneity of his work.
